Dear Biggs Community,
I am honored to step into this leadership role at this amazing school! Here is what I want you to know about me:
This is my 43rd year in education, and I am as passionate today as on my first day as a classroom teacher. I taught multiple grades for 8 years, retired a year ago from CSU, Chico, where for 10 years, I taught classes in the School of Education, supervised student teachers and taught and supervised future principals. This is my 21st year as a principal. I have been a coach to mentor teachers, a math consultant, and a master teacher to many student teachers.
I am married with 5 children and 15 grandchildren and consider myself blessed! I will love your children like my own and look forward to meeting them soon! I have an open-door policy and sincerely value our partnership with parents. I am confident this will be a great year!
