Principal's Message

Biggs Elementary School

Welcome back to the 26-27 School Year!

I am so excited for this wonderful opportunity to be a part of this great school district and community. I love working in education and am passionate about helping students and teachers grow. I have a background in teaching 4th grade, Junior High English, history, math, and science. I have experience working in a small school district as a superintendent and principal and have spent the last three years as middle school principal at BES and principal of Richvale. I truly enjoy working in a small rural school district!  I am excited to be working with all of the new students and families for TK-5.

I believe all children are valuable and have potential to learn. I am excited to partner with you
and your students in achieving their educational goals. I value communication and would love to take the time to meet with you in order to help best meet your families needs. I feel confident that we will have a terrific year!

Sincerely,

Tracey McPeters

VICE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome Back Wolverines!

As I enter my 13th year in education, I am excited to announce that I have been given the honor and privilege to become the next Vice Principal at Biggs Elementary School, Middle School and Richvale School for the 2026-27 School Year.

With this opportunity, I look forward to working with all stakeholders in the Biggs community. I bring with me a wealth of knowledge beginning my career as a para professional through Yolo County Office of Education and then transitioning to a career as an Education Specialist supporting all students including those with diverse disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, emotional challenges, learning disabilities, and at-risk youth.

My leadership philosophy centers on empowering both students and staff through collaboration, clear expectations, and innovative problem-solving. I take pride in building strong relationships with all stakeholders and believe in leading by example to foster a school culture of trust, accountability, and growth to help support all students and stakeholders in our community.

Sincerely,

Ricardo Galicia
